Glass cabochon

Picture on paper – the ink should not run, use magazine pictures or laser printed pictures.

Plain white paper

Pen or pencil

Scissors

Acrylic paint, dark color

Polyurethane varnish

Instructions:

Step 1: paste picture behind cabochon

1st, place the glass cabochon on the picture and draw a line around it with the pen or pencil.

2nd, cut out the picture to the outline of the cabochon

3rd, apply the white glue to the front of the picture so that the entire picture is coated all the way to the edges. Place the picture on the back of the cabochon; use your fingers to rub the picture so that it is smoothly adhering to the glass cabochon with no air bubbles. Let the cabochon sit at least a few hours so that the glue is completely dry.

4th, repeat above processes on a piece of plain white paper to glue extra layers.

Step 2: paint cabochon into pretty pendant

1st, Give the back of the cabochon a second coat of the dark-colored acrylic paint; 

2nd, after it dries, apply metallic acrylic paint lightly on top of the dark

4th, apply a coat of clear polyurethane varnish to the back of the cabochon.
