Beebeecraft Kids DIY Craft – Basket of Cute Quilling Paper Carrots

With quilling paper supplies, what would you make as the Children's Day gift? Today I made some cute quilling paper carrots and a basket for them. It is funny while making them, and I suggest you to have a try with your kids!

craft supplies for jewelry making the cute quilling paper carrot in a basket:

5mm Orange Quilling Paper
5mm Green Quilling Paper
White Glue
Scissors
Tweezers

Instructions on making the quilling paper carrots in a basket:

Step 1: Roll the quilling paper to shape the carrot

1st, stick 2 pieces of 5mm orange quilling paper to make the piece long enough;
2nd, roll the quilling paper into a tight coil with a rolling pen;
3rd, press the center of the coil to shape it into what is shown in the 3rd picture;
4th, cut another piece of quilling paper, roll it from the bottom to the top as shown.

Step 2: Assemble the carrot

1st, continue to roll the quilling paper, and wrap the 2 parts of the carrot with that piece of quilling paper;
2nd, cut a piece of green quilling paper, fold it in halves as shown, and tailor several pieces of leaves;



3rd, glue the green leaves in the hole on the top of the carrot;
4th, stick several pieces of quilling paper to make long enough, and roll the entire piece with rolling pen until the end.

Step 3: Make a quilling paper basket

1st, glue some white glues on the surface inside the basket and let it dry;
2nd, cut 2 pieces of coffee quilling paper together, roll it with a stick as shown;
3rd, glue the wave strip on the fringe of the basket.

Tada! Done is today's diy project!
