Beebeecraft Tutorial on How to Make a Wire Wrapped Shell Pendant Necklace

Wire wrapping techniques are so popular that many DIY crafts are made by it. Today's DIY project is about a wire wrapped shell pendant necklace. As you can see from the picture, there are many different pearl beads inside the slightly opened shell. Wearing a pendant necklace is so unique and eye-catching, right? Follow me to have a nice try!

16x8mm Beige Pearl Bead
10MM White Pearl Beads
8MM White glass Pearl Beads
12MM Green Pearl Bead
12MM Pink Pearl Bead
Korean Waxed Polyester Cord
Cord Ends
Aluminum Wire
Lobster Claw Clasp
Iron Jump Rings
String materials Copper Wire
Pliers

Step 1: Wire wrap a shell base

1st, cut 2 long pieces of aluminum wire, wrap and roll them into snail circles, like the picture below;
2nd, twist the two snail circles together and tighten.

Step 2: Make other patterns of the ornament

1st, wrap copper wire several circles around the aluminum wire of 2 shell coincident point;
2nd, wrap radian at the front end of 2 aluminum wires, then wrap copper wire around aluminum wire several times, thread a 8mm white pearl, then wrap the copper wire and go on;
3rd, add an 8mm pearl to the twisted part, then add a 12mm green pearl bead on the left side of the shell.

Step 3: Add other pearl beads

1st, thread a 10mm white pearl bead, wrap it at the inner of shell;
2nd, wrap other different size pearl beads into the shell as pictured and fix them in shell.

Step 4: Combine the pendant with polyester cord

1st, link Korean waxed polyester cord with shell pendant, fix cord ends at the ends;
2nd, attach cord ends with jump rings and lobster claw clasp.

Here is the final look of this wire wrapped shell pendant necklace.
