This article tutors a purple beaded big pendent necklace making process. It may take a while to finish it.

The color purple usually gives a sense of mystery and romantic. Today I pick some purple glass beads to make this unique design on this purple beaded flower pendent necklace with silver chain. As you can see from the picture, there are 3 beaded flower patterns in it, thus you may need some time to finish it. However, it is worthwhile to do it if you want to try some complicated necklace designs.

Jewelry craft supplies in making the chunky purple beaded pendent necklace:
6mm Purple Normal Glass Beads
4mm Purple Crystal Glass Beads
Purple Cat Eye Beads
2mm Purple Seed Beads
2mm Silver Seed Beads
Silver Chain
Iron Jump Rings
Iron Eye pins
Iron Headpins
Scissors
Long Nose Pliers
Round Nose Pliers

Step 1: Bead basic pattern

1st, snip off a long tiger wire, then slide 6 purple crystal beads on, thread the ends through the last bead and tighten up;
2nd, slide a crystal bead, a purple seed bead, plus a crystal bead and a seed bead to one end, and slide a crystal bead on the other wire, then thread wire through the last bead to form another circle.

Step 2: Finish the beading pattern

1st, thread the wire through a bead at beside on the primary circle and slide a seed bead, a crystal bead, a seed bead, and cross the ends through the last crystal bead to bead the second basic pattern;
2nd, repeat above process to bead 3 more patterns;

3rd, thread the wire through 2 beads on the central circle and the left cirlcle as shown in the picture;
4th, slide a seed bead, a crystal bead and a seed bead again to form the last circle pattern and tighten up the wire.

Step 3: Add silver petals

1st, slide 18 silver seed beads and cross wire backward through the purple crystal bead to shape a circle;
2nd, thread the wire through along the way to the next purple crystal bead and slide 18 seed beads on and make a circle;
3rd, repeat above process and finish the rest 4 silver petals.

Step 4: Add small joint petals

1st, slide 4 silver seed beads on a wire, and then thread the wire through a seed bead on the petal at beside, plus 2 beads on, then thread the way along to the next petal;
2nd, repeat above process to make the other joint petals and finish the beaded pendent pattern;

3rd, repeat the whole process of making the pendent to create 3 more copies.

Step 5Connect the pendants

1st, prepare some gold headpins, some eyepins, some purple crystal drop beads, 4mm purple glass beads, 6mm purple glass beads, and some seed beads;
2nd, slide a purple seed bead, a glass drop bead and 10 seed beads respectively on 3 headpins; and plus 3 seed bead on one of them;
3rd, hook them to the flower pendent properly;
4th, pick a 6mm purple bead, thread it through a headpin, and make a loop at the bottom. Then connect 2 flower patterns by crooking each end to the flower pendents;
5th, pick 2 6mm glass beads and 4 4mm beads, and divide them into 2 groups, thread each through a headpin respectively;
6th, hook the headpin to the roof of the upper flower pendent properly and make loops at bottom.

Step 6: Bead necklace chain pattern

1st, snip off a short wire, and slide 20 seed beads on and cross the ends through a seed bead. Slide 4 seed beads on one wire, and 2 seed beads on the other;
2nd, thread a 6mm purple glass bead and a purple round bead to each wire, add 2 seed beads on both of them, and then thread crystal beads and round beads again as shown in the picture;
3rd, slide 3 seed beads and 2 beads on wire this time, plus a 6mm glass bead and a seed bead;
4th, repeat above pattern to stitch a symmetrical pattern and trim off when you finish the pattern;
5th, stitch another chain pattern as the finished one.

Step 7: Finish the whole necklace

1st, connect each finished chain pattern with a flower pendent respectively and link the other ends to a silver chain with jump rings;
